Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa met with Federal Minister for Communications of Pakistan Abdul Aleem Khan on 26 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A memorandum of cooperation in the field of digital education was signed between the Education Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of China in Minsk on 22 August, BelTA has learned.

A parliamentary delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan headed by Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq arrived in Belarus on an official visit. At Minsk National Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vadim Ipatov.

The European Union, seeking to deal another "crushing" blow to the economy of Belarus, has recently adopted a new package of sanctions. Among them is a ban on the supply of used or second-hand clothes from the EU.
