The Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation passed the bill on amnesty in connection with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War on 2 May, BelTA has learned.

The radiation situation in Belarus is improving, Yekaterina Shmeleva, deputy head of the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus (Gosatomnadzor), said at a press conference, BelTA informs.

Following consultations between the staff of the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt and their Omani counterparts, the authorities of the Sultanate of Oman officially confirmed that Belarusian citizens can obtain visas free of charge upon arrival in Oman, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.
