Belarus, Türkiye map out plans to promote inter-parliamentary contacts

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Türkiye Anatoly Glaz has met with member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, head of the Türkiye-Belarus parliamentary friendship group Selman Eser, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties focused on practical aspects of inter-parliamentary cooperation, focusing on scheduling future contacts and collaborative efforts to safeguard traditional and family values.

“Priority topics for discussion have been identified, including mutual visits of business delegations, contacts between the parliaments of the two countries, cooperation in humanitarian, educational, cultural and other spheres,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

The situation in the region and inter-parliamentary cooperation at multilateral venues were also discussed.

The ambassador of Belarus told the head of the friendship group about the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security scheduled for October 2025 and invited the Turkish parliamentary corps to participate in the event.
