This Saturday, 7 December, Minsk Arena will host a large-scale sports and entertainment show Time of Our Victories, BelTA has learned.
The name was chosen for a reason and echoes the concept of the show. According to the organizers' idea, it is divided into 12 thematic sections, by analogy with a dial: Time to Dream, Time to Love, Time to Create, Time to Be Friends. The final section will be titled Time of Our victories.
Every section includes several acts. The line-up will feature world and European champion, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus Alina Harnasko, two-time Olympic champion, Master of Sports International Class Ivan Litvinovich, silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, Master of Sports International Class Viyaleta Bardzilouskayaas well as many other famous athletes.
The music part of the show will feature Anastasia Kravchenko, Nikita Belko, Artem Skorol, Valeria Bernatovich and other young Belarusian artists. The athletes' performances will be accompanied by music pieces played by the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.
Taking part in this sports and music show will be athletes and artists from Belarus, Russia and China, including athletes from the gymnastics schools of Alina Kabaeva and Irina Viner and an ensemble from China’s Gansu Province that will show acrobatic art.
This is the first project of this scale. The organizers call it experimental in a way. That is why to see this show one needed an invitation, not a ticket. Invitations were distributed mostly among young people. Yet, if everything goes as planned, the Time of Our Victories show will go on and more Belarusians will be able to see it.
The program will feature a performance of young people with disabilities. The Wheelchair Dance Sport world cup winners, Belarus’ multiple champions were happy to accept the invitation to join the large-scale show. They will perform during the Time to Appreciate section of the program.
The organizers described Time to Remember as one of the most touching sections of the program. It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the upcoming 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
