2024 election campaign kicks off in Belarus

The election campaign period ahead of the 2024 single voting day kicked off in Belarus on 31 January, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the anniversary of his enthronement, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

District and territorial election commissions completed the registration of candidates for the 2024 election campaign in Belarus on 30 January, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.
