The international symposium of writers "The Writer and Time" will be held as part of the 32nd Minsk International Book Fair on 12 March, Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Writers Aleksandr Karlyukevich told the media, BelTA has learned.

In an interview with U.S. blogger Mario Nawfal, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko called on Europeans and Americans to do everything to make sure the next generations will have a normal life, BelTA has learned. 

The 27th edition of the international exhibition of tourist services Leisure 2025 will take place in Minsk on 27-29 March, Director of the National Tourism Agency Dmitry Morozov told the First News TV Channel, BelTA has learned.

Lukashenko extends Police Day greetings

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active-duty and retired employees of the internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on their professional holiday - Police Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

MPs will hold parliamentary readings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives of Belarus Igor Marzalyuk told reporters, BelTA learned. 

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties needs to analyze the tax legislation and work out a sound tax system, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he made appointments to the economic team of the government on 3 March, BelTA has learned. 

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed the government to decide on a new system of price regulation by April, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov told the media after a meeting with the head of state, BelTA learned.

Private and state enterprises should be treated equally, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting to discuss the new price regulation system on 28 February, BelTA learned.
