The Belarusian People's Congress will ensure quality control of decisions taken by the current government institutions, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Andrei Savinykh said in an interview to the ONT channel, BelTA has learned.

Plans to streamline the work of the Social Security Fund and measures to increase support for pensioners and disabled children were in focus of the meeting hosted by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 10 November, BelTA has learned.

Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Economy, Budget and Finance of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Tatiana Runets took part in the meeting of the Standing Commission on Economy and Finance of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, held at the Tauride Palace in St. Petersburg, BelTA learned from the press service of the upper house of parliament.

Pension benefits are to be recalculated again in Belarus in the near future, the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel informs. This decision has already been agreed by the head of state, BelTA reports.
