MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko convened a meeting with senior officials of the Council of Ministers on 17 August. The meeting is to discuss draft normative legal acts related to economy and national security, BelTA has learned.

In order to protect the domestic enterprises Belarus needs to use more actively the mechanisms of international organizations, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting to discuss Belarus' current foreign policy priorities, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin have had a telephone conversation to discuss the entire range of bilateral relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has left for the Russian Federation on a working visit, BelTA has learned.
