Vitebsk Oblast, Belarusian Orthodox Church sign cooperation agreement

On 2 March, the headquarters of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee hosted an event to sign the program of implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Orthodox Church in Vitebsk Oblast for 2021-2025. Taking part in the event were Vitebsk Oblast Governor Nikolai Sherstnev, Archbishop of Vitebsk and Orsha Dimitry and Bishop of Polotsk and Glubokoye Igtaty.

Over 13,500 deposit accounts opened under Belarus' new family capital program

Plans to expand usage of local fuels in Belarus

More efforts will be poured into increasing the usage of local kinds of fuel in Belarus. Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich made the statement as he and Vitebsk Oblast Governor Nikolai Sherstnev visited the peat brick plant OAO TBZ Braslavsky on 3 March, the press service of the Energy Ministry told BelTA.
