Military personnel of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus have left for Moscow to prepare for the Victory Day parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Belarus will present its scientific achievements at the 18th Pujiang Innovation Forum which is set to take place in Shanghai on 20-23 September. Preparations for the forum were discussed during a meeting between Deputy Chairwoman of the State Committee on Science and Technology (SCST) of Belarus Tatiana Stolyarova and Deputy Director General of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Chen Hongkai, BelTA learned from the press service of the SCST.

The radiation situation in Belarus is improving, Yekaterina Shmeleva, deputy head of the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus (Gosatomnadzor), said at a press conference, BelTA informs.
