The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Esin met with Hiromichi Watanabe, member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan and head of the Japan-Belarus Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group on 27 July 2022, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Japan.
The ambassador thanked the Japanese MP for his work on expanding the bilateral inter-parliamentary dialogue and cooperation in trade, culture, sport, and youth exchange.
The diplomat urged the Japanese side to look at Belarus with their own eyes, rather than those of others, the embassy said.
For his part, the MP praised the activities of the embassy to develop bilateral interregional cooperation and implement of a number of joint projects.
