Delegates from the member states of the Bureau International des Expositions heard out the final report of Expo 2020 Dubai and got familiar with the preparations for Expo 2025 Osaka, including the approval of the agreement between the BIE and Japan on the conditions and special regulations of Expo 2025.
Delegates were presented with candidature dossiers for a Specialized Expo in either 2027 or 2028 from Thailand, Serbia, Spain, Argentina, the United States, as well as candidates to host EXPO 2030: the Republic of Korea (Busan), Italy (Rome) and Saudi Arabia (Riyadh).
