Lukashenko sends greetings to CIS Healthcare Cooperation Council meeting participants

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 34th meeting of the CIS Healthcare Cooperation Council, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your council plays an important role in strengthening and expanding cooperation in healthcare throughout the CIS and has proved its relevance in today's difficult conditions of the coronavirus pandemic,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that thanks to the measures taken in time, the exchange of experience and scientific information on COVID-19, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the CIS countries is under control.

“I am convinced that the meeting of the council will be held, as always, in a constructive manner, respecting fundamental principles of mutual trust, equality and mutual interests, and its decisions and recommendations will be a worthy contribution to strengthening the health of the peoples of our countries and further development of interstate relations,” the president said.
