Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Spain


Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent best wishes to King of Spain Felipe VI and people of Spain as they celebrate their National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Such holidays boost patriotism and pride in the Motherland, its history, culture and outstanding figures. It is love for one's country, faith in the strength of the nation's unity, devotion to the values ​​bequeathed by ancestors that are the spiritual basis of every nation,” the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Felipe VI for running recuperation programs for Belarusian children affected by the Chernobyl accident. “I sincerely hope that cooperation in this field and other areas where we have achieved considerable success will continue,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
