Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Turkmenistan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as the country celebrates the 30th anniversary of independence, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your country is celebrating this landmark anniversary with high achievements in social and economic development, successes in nation-building, and strengthened authority in the international arena,” the message of greetings runs.

The Belarusian leader expressed confidence that building up multi-pronged mutually beneficial relations between Minsk and Ashgabat based on the principles of friendship and equal partnership would make an important contribution to ensuring happy, peaceful and prosperous life of the people of Belarus and Turkmenistan.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow strong health and fruitful work for the prosperity of Turkmenistan and unity and stability to the citizens of this country.
