Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to president of Egypt

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“During your responsible service to your homeland, Egypt has come a long way in its social and economic development, the growth of its industrial and scientific potential, the modernization of its infrastructure, and the expansion of its international ties,” the message of greetings reads. “Belarus respectfully observes the efforts of the country's authorities aimed at improving the people's prosperity and enhancing the role of the Egyptian state as one of the key centers of power in the Arab world and on the African continent.”

The Belarusian president noted the Egyptian president's personal contribution to strengthening regional stability and achieving diplomatic solutions to the most complex crisis issues in the Middle East and Africa.

The head of state also emphasized that Belarusian-Egyptian relations continue to develop on a basis of mutual trust and friendliness. “Our cooperation is deepening across a wide range of areas - from industry and agriculture to education, science, and technology,” he said.

“I thank you for accepting the invitation to visit the Republic of Belarus. I look forward to our meeting in the near future and am confident that it will give a new impulse to our bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects that serve the interests of both our countries,” the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Sisi health, success, and fruitful work for the benefit of Egypt and its citizens.
