“Belarusian Railways is a vital component of the country’s transport system and a source of pride for its people. Every year, you transport over 60 million passengers and more than 100 million tonnes of cargo. Everyone who uses the services of Belarusian Railways is absolutely confident in your reliability and punctuality,” the message of greetings runs.
The president recalled that the proud labor traditions of Belarusian railway workers were established with the opening of the first railway section in Belarus, linking Porechye and Grodno. “Since then, generations of engineers, conductors, dispatchers, station staff, track inspectors, and maintenance engineers have proudly worn the uniform of Belarusian railway workers and diligently served their country,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
“I am confident that improving transport management, developing infrastructure and technology, and expanding the capacity of international transport corridors will enable you to further strengthen your positions and continue advancing progressively,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
The president wished railway workers and their families good health, happiness, and further professional success.
