The web-based meeting brought together representatives of the Justice Ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Belarusian Chamber of Notaries, the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation and the CIS Executive Committee.
The council is set to discuss the priority areas of further development of legal cooperation in the CIS, digitalization and transformation of the activities of civil registry offices of the CIS member states, creation of the unified electronic information exchange system between the Justice Ministries of the CIS member states, cooperation in the field of notary and lawyer activities.
The council will focus on ways of strengthening international cooperation in preserving the historical truth and combating falsification of history and the status of implementation of the decision of the CIS Heads of State Council "On declaring 2027 the Year of Legal Education in the Commonwealth of Independent States".
