Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “We have absolutely the same ideas. You know our ideas. We know Russian ones. As I say, it is one Fatherland from Brest to Vlapostok. Well, it so happens that two states have evolved here beyond our will. And we should do everything to make our relations inside this Fatherland even tighter than those inside a unitary state. And you and I do a lot.”
“I am convinced that our children and other generations will appreciate our hard work. And the complications we deal with. We are getting bombed left, right, and center. And all our decisions are geared towards the unity of our nations. It is very important ahead of this festive date [the 80th anniversary of the Victory],” the president added.
