The ministry has notified about the objectives, timing, number of participants in the exercise and other information aimed at ensuring openness of military activities in the area of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
As BelTA has reported, the Armed Forces launched a combat readiness exercise on 3 February. The exercise will assess the readiness and ability of mechanized military units and subunits to carry out tasks as intended. Personnel, including those called up from the reserve, will perform the whole range of measures to prepare weapons, military and special equipment for use, and go to the designated areas.
As part of the exercise, new ways of using reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial systems will be tested in the course of joint operations together with ground troops with active use of electronic warfare means.
