The voting results testify to the high level of trust of compatriots in the course of the country's development, which is pursued by the South West Africa People's Organization Party and Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah personally, the Belarusian leader said.
According to the president, Belarus warmly remembers her official visit in the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia in October 2016.
“I am confident that with your knowledge of the opportunities of the Belarusian economy, personal participation and great political experience, we will be able to bring the interstate dialogue to a qualitatively new level,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The head of state reaffirmed commitment to transforming the significant potential of the bilateral partnership, including in such sectors as industry, agricultural mechanization, food security, science and education, into joint mutually beneficial projects. “I will be glad to meet with you to discuss ways to intensify Belarusian-Namibian cooperation,” the president said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah good health and success in his responsible state post.
