As of 1 November, a total of 90,465 families applied for permission to use family capital ahead of schedule. Of them, 72,948 applied to use the money to improve housing conditions, 9,942 to pay for healthcare services, 7,570 to pay for education and five to buy health products for disabled people.
The ministry granted permission to use family capital earlier to 87,858 applicants. Most of such applicants are from Brest Oblast (18,631). Then goes Vitebsk Oblast with 8,428, families, Gomel Oblast with 13,989, Grodno Oblast – 10,442, Minsk Oblast – 15,225, Mogilev Oblast – 8,836 and the city of Minsk – 12,307.
The Labor and Social Security Ministry noted that the family capital program applies to families raising three and more children. From 1 January till 31 December 2024 the family capital equals Br31,480.
