The Belarusian delegation, the majority of whom are businesswomen, will take part in the forum.
The first day will feature six sections covering the main areas of Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation: machine building, light industry, agriculture, chemical and woodworking industries, medical and educational services, and tourism. The main goal of the sessions is to demonstrate Belarus’ economic potential and encourage interest in establishing new contacts.
A plenary session will be held on the second day of the forum. More than 50 enterprises and organizations are expected to take part in the exposition of Belarusian products.
It is planned to sign commercial contracts and cooperation documents during the forum. The Council of the Republic recalled the results of the first Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum: 14 memorandums and agreements on cooperation, including an agreement on the establishment of a joint leather and footwear enterprise, and 15 contracts worth over Br90 million (350 billion Uzbek sums) were signed.
