15.07.2024
Traditional and new partners are able and willing to intensify multifaceted cooperation with Belarus, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said at the annual seminar of the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus on 15 July, BelTA has learned.

Maksim Ryzhenkov noted that Belarus has to pursue its foreign policy in difficult conditions. Indeed, sanctions are constantly piling up. However, traditional and new partners are ready to step up multifaceted cooperation with Belarus.

“We probably did not know how multifaceted and versatile it could be if we seriously tap into it. Today our partners are able and willing to develop mutually beneficial contacts, even in areas that we once dismissed as not very important,” Maksim Ryzhenkov said.
About 60 people are taking part in the annual seminar. The program of the seminar includes meetings with heads of ministries and government agencies, visits to enterprises and historical and cultural landmarks. The diplomats will attend lectures at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of Belarus, take part in round tables and hold one-on-one meetings with top management of exporting enterprises.

Meetings will also be held with senior government officials, representatives of the Constitutional Court, the National Bank, and Belarusian Railways. There will also be on-site events, visits to the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MTZ, and the National Film Studio Belarusfilm.https://president.gov.by/en/statebodies/academy-of-public-administration-under-the-president
