This included 244,633 citizens of Lithuania, 95,702 citizens and 28,991 non-citizens of Latvia, and 42,034 Polish citizens.
Some 796,346 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 492,896 citizens of Lithuania, 55,870 non-citizens and 183,836 citizens of Latvia, and 63,744 Polish citizens.
The State Border Committee recalled that Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko supported the proposal by the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to extend the visa waiver program for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland to 2024.
