Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Turkmenistan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan as the country celebrates the Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that the rapid development of neutral Turkmenistan over the years of sovereignty is a clear indication of the country's aspiration for progress and prosperity.

"I am convinced that the time-tested Belarusian-Turkmen relations, based on mutual respect and trust, have a great potential which can be successfully developed by our joint efforts in the interests of the citizens of the two states," the president stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health, happiness and all the best, and peace and prosperity to the people of friendly Turkmenistan.
