Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to workers and veterans of prosecution bodies as they mark their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

“By protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, maintaining the rule of law and justice, preserving the historical truth, you are doing everything to help Belarus grow stronger and move forward, to maintain peace and social harmony,” the message of congratulations reads.

This is especially relevant today, as prosecution bodies are facing a great number of complex tasks related to maintaining law and order, combating crime and strengthening the national security, the president noted.

“I am convinced that each of you understands this well, and your high professionalism, integrity and impartiality will help you effectively counter new challenges of the time,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

The head of state thanked veteran workers for their outstanding services to the country and people, for laying a solid foundation for the entire system of prosecution bodies and for remaining involved in the work and passing on their extensive experience to young people.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the employees of prosecution bodies successful work for the benefit of their homeland, as well as good health, happiness and well-being to them and their loved ones.
